The Quaker Aurora Tennis Club was originally formed in 1973. The newest advance in tennis structures, an air-supported building, was purchased and became known as “The Bubble.” This structure was disassembled every spring and resurrected each fall.
In 1994 the Club, led by President Roger Esslinger, designed and constructed a permanent building complete with running water, lavatories and a social area. The current structure is easier to maintain, less costly to run, and enjoyed by all our members.
